Be a Foster Hero. Save a Life.

Fosters are the backbone of our rescue. By opening your home to a cat in need, you give them a safe space to heal, grow, and await their forever family. It’s a temporary commitment with a lifelong impact.

What We Provide

We support our fosters by providing the most critical resources for the cats in your care:

  • All veterinary care from our partner clinic.
  • Assistance with food and litter.
  • Promotion and marketing to find an adopter.
  • Ongoing support and guidance.

What You Provide

Your role is to give a rescued cat a bridge from their past to their future. You provide:

  • A safe, loving, and patient temporary home.
  • Daily care, feeding, and socialization.
  • Transportation to and from vet appointments.
  • The love and attention they need to thrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

It varies! The average foster stay is between 2-8 weeks, but it depends on the cat's needs and how quickly they are adopted. Kittens may need care for a few months, while an adult cat might find a home in a week. We work with your availability.

Absolutely! Most of our foster homes have resident pets. We require a separate, quiet space (like a spare bathroom or bedroom) for the foster cat to decompress for the first 1-2 weeks. We will help you choose a foster cat that is a good match and guide you through a safe, slow introduction process.

It happens, and we call it a "foster success"! Fosters who wish to adopt the cat in their care are given priority in the adoption process. We just ask that you let us know as soon as you're considering it.
